Chocolate is my kryptonite! Seriously, I can give up chips, pop, and all those goodies but I have a really hard time walking past chocolate. Luckily, Emulin has really helped curb that sugar craving but some days a girl just needs some chocolate. On those days I break out this amazing low carb, sugar free chocolate recipe and indulge my inner chocolate fiend.
The great thing about this low carb chocolate is that it is so versatile. I make little chocolates out of it, I use it to create my own chocolate chips for any baking I may try to accomplish and I use it for dipping fruit in. Like theses amazing low carb chocolate covered strawberries. So many ways to squeeze in my little chocolate fix throughout the month. Also this recipe is so easy to whip up I can treat the kids to special chocolates any time and who doesn’t like to treat their kids once in awhile. Especially when it’s sugar free!
So let’s dig in to this low carb, sugar free chocolate recipe.
Start by measuring out your coconut oil and then melting it. This is relatively easy as real, quality coconut oil basically melts at room temperature. Once your coconut oil is melted add in cocoa powder. When choosing cocoa powder be sure to look for unsweetened. Sugar is lurking everywhere so just be sure to check your labels.
Now that you have a chocolate base you can start getting creative. Crush up some nuts or add a drop of sugar free syrup to change the flavours. Sugar free caramel syrup is one of my favourite additions to these amazing little chocolates. Pour the low carb chocolate in to chocolate molds and stick in the fridge for about 10 minutes and viola low carb, sugar free chocolate goodness at your finger tips!! Or you can dip strawberries or really any kind of fruit for a delicious low carb dessert. The possibilities are really endless!!

Low Carb, Sugar Free Chocolate
- 1 Cup Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Coconut Oil
- 1/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- Melt coconut oil by stirring in a bowl at room temperature
- Stir in cocoa powder until well blended
