Follow these tips to help you reset your metabolism.
- The morning you begin your reset be sure to eat a high protein breakfast. I prefer bacon and eggs or a filling omelette. It keeps you full all the way to lunch and gives your body a good kick start for the day. Eating breakfast should be at the top of your priority list during this reset.
- Before you start your reset start preparing by searching low carb recipes and foods you may like. Clear your cupboards and refrigerator of any high carb, high sugar or processed foods. If those foods are not easily accessible you will be less likely to reach for them.
- Meal prep!! This is so important. Take a day, go to the store and pick up everything you will need to prep lunch and supper for 9 days. Also be sure to purchase some healthy snacks. If you are prepared you will be less likely to grab something quick, easy and full of carbs on those busy days.
